A timely reminder for me that those every day assumptions are just my own interpretation of the world.

So often I hear people critiquing the feminism of others and while there is certainly always lessons to be learned, I think it’s important that we welcome everyone dabbling in feminism. Gotta start somewhere.

We recently had a big old discussion in the office around creativity vs imagination. One of the guys said he had a good imagination but didn’t think he was creative, and I was intrigued by this. I didn’t really think one could exist without the other. This TED Talk seems kinda relevant to that.
I always find it interesting to think about body language – not only in how others project themselves, but also how it makes you feel about yourself and your situation. It’s something I try to keep in mind when I’m in confronting or challenging situations at work.
